For Sale: Globe King 500B

For Sale:

Better than new Globe king 500B
AM Transmitter.
This is a 300 watts plus Ham
Radio Transmitter.
I purchased it from the estate of
K9RJ who had all the front panels
redone to like new condition.
He also had a nice job re-
painting the cabinet. It looks
beautiful
I then had Robert WØVMC go thru
the electrical of this
transmitter and update it so
it would run smoothly. Robert
installed his stage III audio
Modification, rebuilt the Tank
Circuit,
New Stock Plate Transformer and
12H choke, Screen Modulator Kit
installed.
Robert also rebuilt all three
Decks. There was many other
updates Robert did and I have all
the documentation and costs
incurred. Included is a Solid
State Speech amplifier and
antenna relay
that Robert Built for this
transmitter. I did not take a
picture of the back, but the back
door is installed and has been
repainted also
I'll add that picture soon.

I have over $4400.00 invested in
this wonderful transmitter. It
would be hard to find a nicer
one.

Price is $3,500.00 CASH FIRM
Pick-up ONLY in Davenport, Iowa

Please Text me if you have any
questions about this transmitter.
NO TRADES Considered. I'm 72
years old
and it's time to down size the
big Iron.
