HAM Homes

Amateur Station near Houston Area

My Dad was an SK earlier this year and I will be selling his place. This property is located near Livingston, Texas and is built for a serious ham radio operator. Enjoy backup power generation from a
Generac 17[kW] propane generator and work DX while the Zombie Apocalypse is commencing outside. You'll be working that JA station while your neighbors are running for their lives. ;)

Brick house on over 2.5 acres with newly installed double pained vinyl windows. Well insulated! 3 bedrooms (1 bedroom has built-in desk & shelves for optional office or shack conversion.) 1 car garage
with additional 2 vehicle car port. Car port has a pot bellied stove to drink your coffee by in the mornings. Stand-alone rustic workshop and ham shack. Ham shack is insulated well and finished inside
with painted sheetrock & trim. Plenty of AC power (both 220VAC and 110VAC) feeds all three station positions. Do Field Day and easily fit 3 operators in this room simultaneously. Each operator has a
window for natural sunlight and also his own track lights. Shack/Workshop has wrap-around covered porch.

Two towers are up and ready to go.

TOWER 1: HG-52SS Steel Crank-up Tower. Cable was recently replaced with stainless steel aircraft cable. Very good condition. Sits on a concrete pad per specs in tower manual. Ham IV Antenna Rotor with
a KT34XA KLM HF Yagi with a 7 element M2 on top of a 20 ft stinger. This tower is fed by a run of buried 7/8" hardline that goes from the shack to the tower.

TOWER 2: 70 ft Rohn 25G tower with 20 ft. stinger rotated by a HAM rotor. Christmas tree goes from 6m up to 432 MHz. All antennas M2. Elements #'s as follows: 6m --> 9 elements, 2m --> 21 elements (8
wavelength model), 432--> 15WL from M2. Combine any of these antennas with an amp and light the trees on fire.

There is an additional storage building and lean-to covered area apart from the work shop. Back yard and side yard are plenty big enough for horses or cattle. Entire property is fenced in. There is
practically no noise at this property.

I am selling this property for $100k which is a steal considering all of the features of the property, but need the money for other endeavors. Please contact me at 281-229-2377 for more questions. More
