Very Rare Collins S-line

Collins rare complete S-line "2s"
Rarest Collins S-line Station
Health issues force sale.
Complete Rare S-line station
consisting of 75S2 receiver, 32S2
transmitter, 312B-4 Console,
516F-2 ps with cabinet, SM-1
microphone all period correct.
The "2" s are the rarest of the
S-line units manufactured by
Collins. This
receiver/transmitter combination
is a very rare find. It is the
receiver and matching transmitter
with the additional fourteen
200kc bands and switching and
crystal bank features like those
on the 75S- 3C. Less than 500 of
these receivers and transmitters
were made from 1958 to 1961
during the production of the 75S-
1s. There were modification kits
available during this time to
convert 75S-1 and 32S1 to "2"s.
These units are one of the
original Factory "2"s as
indicated by the solid white band
markings on the pre-
selector/exciter controls and the
serial number plates. These
Factory "2"s were sold mainly to
government and commercial users.
Not many Factory "2"s were
originally purchased by amateur
radio operators. They are
unmodified, unmolested and have
not been "restored". Photos
available Reasonable Offers
considered. CONUS only prefer
local pickup but will ship at
actual cost for third party
packing,insurance and shipping.
