FS Restored Collins 75A-3 Receiver

FS: Collins 75A-3 Receiver with 4:1 tuning knob. Receiver is in good cosmetic condition and works exceptionally well. It has been completely gone through by a retired Collins service technician. All tubular and electrolytic caps have been replaced as well as any resistors out of spec. All tube checked and weak ones replaced, controls cleaned and some replaced, etc. It has been professional aligned. Great audio on AM and SSB. Very stable for SSB and CW and great tuning with the 4:1 gears and knob. Filter is 3.1. Chassis has some corrosion. Front Panel is nice. Mint Condition Elecraft K2/100 SN:02490 Options: KSB2 SSB Option, K160RX 160-Meter + 2nd Antenna Option, KPA100 100-Watt Option (includes KIO2), KAT100-1 100-Watt external Auto-tuner, MH2 Heil hand-mic optimized for the K2 and K3. I personally built these and have put a lot of time and love into them. I worked the Elecraft booth at Dayton in 2003 and had this radio on display for all to see inside and out. I'm an engineer by trade and take great pride in the build quality of this radio and options. Using this radio (QRP) and a 540ft horizontal loop antenna, I placed 9th world-wide and 3rd in Ohio in the 2002 ARRL 160-Meter contest while also achieving my WAS 160M CW. Not bad for my first contest with every piece of equipment I used being personally built in my hamshack. All equipment is in Immaculate condition. It has never been smoked around, had any "spills" or been mobile. It has operated in four field-day events and been carried in a padded hard-shell case to/from the events. Other then the 4-digit serial number, you wouldn't know it wasn't built new last week. Radio was professionally aligned by Elecraft in 2006. Work has kept me busy or out of the country since then and I've only had it on the air twice since 2006. It seems such a waste for me to keep it as a museum piece so, I'm listing it for sale. Icom 751

Up for sale is a non-working Icom 751. The original memory board has been changed to the PIEXX board. Also included is a copy of the owners manual. The radio has the following symptoms: No frequency display or noise through the speaker. Only the meter lamp lights up. About one year ago, I bought this radio with a scanning problem. Everything did work, but it just scanned all frequencies. So I replaced the IC2 chip as told so by Icom. This fixed the problem, however within the first 5 minutes a component on the front left side started to smoke. I found out it was on the dislay board somewhere. This is as far as I want to go with this radio for I do not have the time to diagnose this problem. BEFORE THIS PROBLEM, EVERYTHING WORKED AS IT SHOULD. FULL OUTPUT AND GOOD RECIEVE!!! The first $250.00 + shipping takes it. Also, the cabinet is in excellent condition. Only a few very small sctratches. It is a 9 out of 10. Thanks, Harry P.S. Kenwood TS-440S Hf Transceiver **SOLD**

**SOLD** Up for sale is my Kenwood TS-440S, serial number 10400712. This is the non AT version without the internal tuner but it does have the front tuner switch and the internal wiring that allows the Kenwood tuner to plug right in. I’m the 2nd owner and it’s never been smoked around. The only technical issue with the radio is that the receive signals are down about 10db (S meter) as compared to other radios. Could be something simple but I have not had the time to look into it. Minor surface scratches on top and a paint blemish near the speaker. Will provide more pictures as requested. All other features work without issue. Full 100 watts out across the bands. All knobs, dials and switches are firm and do what they should. The display is crisp. Icom IC-781 with SP-20 and Heil HM-5

Icom IC-781, serial number 01524 with SP-20 external speaker unit and Heil HM-5 with dual cartridges and original Manual - $1500. I have used the equipment for only a few hours, everything works great. It puts out full power. It was previously owned by a now silent key. In the back of the manual, I found the former owner had written that the radio was purchased from AES on 9-8-88. Maybe they still have a record. I'm not sure what mods have been done, but on the side of the radio are two additional bar code tags that look as if the radio was factory updated twice. The tags are 76282 are 77964. Many agree that the IC-781 is without doubt the finest HF transceiver ever built. This 781 has been well taken care of and has only the slightest wear. Included is the original manual, AC power cable, SP-20 external speaker and Heil HM- 5-I desk Microphone with an upgraded HC-4 cartridge. E-mail me with questions. TS-940Sat 4Trade -newer rig

Well, they say "it can't hurt to ask", so here goes...... I have a spotless, really nice looking TS-940 Sat. comes with original hand mic, original shipping carton & styrofoam, and CW filter installed. Auto tuner works great... I had this rig for a couple years. When I got it it had a low power output problem when I got it home. Rather than hunt down the guy that sold it to me at the hamfest & beat him up, I just dealt with the low power issue (it ran about 3 watts CW and maybe 15watts SSB). SInce I'm a big CW QRP op anyway, it was no big deal...Rig worked great, and the receiver is outstanding as all 940 rigs I've had were. Couple of months back I decided to sent it to Jack Albert at wilcoelectronics to be fixed up right (I found him under product reviews, under equipment repair on eham.net)... He got it back in Nov and just a couple weeks ago got around to fixing it... Total repair bill: $289 including the $45 to ship the rig back to me (but not including the $45 it cost me to ship it to him). So I've got $334 in to the repair job. He's shipping it back to me and I should have the rig back in a week. Turned out there was no problem with the power output boards, but instead the rig had been modified by somebody that didn't know what they were doing. He did replace some parts though... Why am I trading? Well, I've had all the older bigger rigs (Icom 761, 765, Kenwood TS-930, 940, etc..etc..etc..).. Had good luck with them, but now I want to get a newer rig. I'd like to trade for something a lot newer like Yaesu FT-950 ( obviously with me throwing in some bucks in the deal), or ICOM 746 series, Kenwood TS-570S, something like that. No Icom 718, no TS-440, 480 etc.... I'd like a larger, newer rig. When I say newer, I'm talking something in maybe the last 10 years or so. If you're interesting in trading, please contact me. Universal QSYer Keypad Direct Frequency Entry

The Universal QSYer for all ICOM radios including the IC-706 series, as well as the Yaesu FT-817, FT-857, FT-897, FT857, FT-100 and Kenwood TS-440 radios. Directly enter frequencies and perform and other functions. This keypad is indispensable to those operators who own very small radios (such as the IC-706 series, the FT-100, and the FT-817) that don't have their own panel keypads and those operators who are visually impaired. Frankly, if you are operating one of these radios in a mobile or portable environment without one of these keypads, you are working way too hard. The keypad performs a number of functions. First, of course, it allows you to directly enter frequencies into the radio. You can enter the frequency as either kHz or MHz and the keypad will figure out which you intended. Thus, to QSY to 14.254 MHz, you can enter either 14254 or 14*254. You can also omit any trailing zeros. Thus, to go to the bottom of the 40 meter band, you simply enter the 7 digit followed by the enter key. The keypad also knows which mode to switch the radio to. If you enter a frequency in the SSB portion of the 20 meter band, it knows to switch the radio to USB. If you enter a frequency in the SSB portion of the 40 meter band, it knows to switch to LSB. For the CW band segments it automatically switches to CW. Enter a 2 meter repeater frequency, and it switches to FM. Enter a frequency in the FM broadcast band, and it switches to WFM. The keypad itself uses high quality full-travel (not membrane) keys and emits a pleasant beep whenever a key is pressed. The keypad performs a number of other functions as well. When operating with an ICOM or Kenwood radio, It can immediately select any numbered memory in your radio. To go to memory number 15, for example, you simply enter A15. (This feature is not available on the Yaesu models because of the way Yaesu has designed it's computer control system.) It also allows you to switch between the two VFOs on most radios (not the IC-728 or some other older model ICOMs) with a single keystroke. Simple keystrokes also allow you to switch between the VFO and memory modes. When operating with a Yaesu radio, you can change the repeater shift from the keypad, or step through the various modes on the radio. From a non-smoking home. $65 Shipped

After selling my truck, I don't have any room for the radio any more. It has been well taken care of, with a few things that make its condition used: there is a small scratch on the front screen cover not affecting the display, the power button got a little coke behind it so as a result the button sometimes needs a little extra push to power the radio on, and the power cord has been shortened some from the original length. With those items said, the radio still works GREAT and I have never had a problem with it. Heathkit SB-1400 Transceiver I have for sale a beautiful Heathkit SB-1400 transceiver that doesn't have a mark on it. As a mater of fact it still has the original plastic film guard on the display window. This is a 100 watt HF 160 though 10 mtr band, multi mode transceiver. Operates on SSB, CW, AM and FM. Receiver is very sensitive at .25 microvolts. This little radio has noise blanker, squelch, adjustable AGC and Attenuator, as well as memory to and from VFO. Even operates split frequency. Included is the manual, optional FM module, hand held band switching microphone, power cord and serial computer interface module. This will make a great starter transceiver or mobile rig.
