Looking to buy (I think) subject radio if parts and service are still available for this model.

Anyone know?

Icom shows on their site that they do not support anything discontinued before 2010.

Some parts might still be available from them however.

You could contact http://mts-icom.wixsite.com/hamradiorepair and see what his opinion is for the serviceability of the radio currently is.

Parts - what you can scavenge.  Service - the extent of your home shop.  The youngest of the 735's is well past the point of legal drinking age in all 50 states.  A decent rig in its' day but so-so by contemporary standards.  Several known issues none of which fatal but time consuming to address.  Point of this post is unless it's been gone through, it's on borrowed time and is worth only what you're willing to risk.    If it has been gone through, you're probably going to pay more than a radio of this caliber is worth.
