I found a Motorola Metrum II VHF ham mobile unit that I would like to check out, but I am not finding any info online.
Supposedly, it is a crystal controlled synthesizer 12 channel unit, but it probably isn't worth anything with todays technology.
But if it works, maybe someone would want it, rather than tossing it in the scrap pile...

Nowadays, cutting crystals costs more than a radio.  Only way to make it economical is to use a GLB Channelizer or a DDS VFO.

It would help to have a schematic tho, as I have no patience drawing up my own diagrams any more.

To N8CMQ:

I found your post about finding a Motorola Metrum II VHF mobile unit and possibly passing it on to someone who can use it.  I have a Motorola Metrum II that I crystalled up and used many years ago.  I believe it works but sometime over the years, something fell on it and damaged the front panel and control knobs.  I would very much like to acquire a unit that I could use for parts to repair my radio.  Let me know if you are interested in parting with your Metrum II.  I would be happy to reimburse you for your shipping costs.  Would you want something for the unit itself as well.  It would be put to good use.
