Heil HM 10 (4 pin XLR) has a 4 conductor wire plus a braid shield also a 2 conductor 1/4 female plug for a foot switch.
Not sure it is an original Heil cable it also has a 4 pin Kenwood mike plug, I want to change it to a 8 pin Kenwood plug to use with a TS 430

4 PIN XLR Kenwood 8 PIN
XLR Pin 3 to Pin 2 Kenwood (PTT)
XLR Pin 4 to Pin 8 Kenwood (Ground / Standby / Shield)
XLR Pin 2 to Pin 1 Kenwood (MIC)
XLR Pin 1 to Pin 7 Kenwood (Mic Ground)

Using the 4 wires in the mic cable and not using the braid shield
Does this look correct??

XLR Pin 4 to Pin 8 Kenwood (Ground / Standby / Shield) is this the other side/ground for the PTT

Thank you
