The amp warm up time has cost me several qso's over the years.

It's about time to get a SS amp  Cool

They had a pretty good signal on 160m @11:30z this morning, but didn't seem to be hearing very well.

They did work a few now and then (not me, dang it) but qsos were slow with a lot of repeats.

Still going @12:20z when I had to leave for work.

Tomorrow is another day.....

I wonder what they were using for antennas yesterday on 30m? I suppose it was simply their greyline at the time... but still.. Amazing signal.. at 2pm EST. I just wasn't expecting that signal booming in at that time of day.. almost to the point were some people were questioning whether it was a pirate.. but my QSO shows up in their clublog.

Good luck, Obie. And anyone else needing it.

They are hearing better this morning, got 80/160m for my last bands needed.

Good signal on 80m this NTX a.m. and calling specifically for NA. Got through after about 10-15 minutes.

This morning I got up at 5:30am and worked VK9MA on 160m.  Some QSB but he had a good signal.  A handful of callers.  He was asking NA only.  He does have a hard time hearing us.  I had to send my call at 18wpm.  After he has gotten my full call he still sent 'W6GX W6GX ? ?'.  I got him at 1241z.  GL to those who need them on 160m.  160m is my only unfinished business with VK9/M Smiley  I worked VK9MT in 2014 on 10-80m.

See them spotted on 17m SSB, but nothing here.  Sad The path from my QTH to the South Pacific is not so good. I do okay into JA/KH6/KL7, but places like VK and ZL are tough for me.

VK/ZL is actually an easy path for those of us on the East Coast, but it gets dark early now with the switch to EST and condx aren't very good today.  I'm not hearing them on 17 SSB either but on the 5th I worked them on 17 CW at 2200 UTC.

CONDX is bad today. I worked them on 20m RTTY yesterday at 2116z. They were 579 on my s-meter. Today, exactly 24 hours later, I heard them on 20m CW calling CQ NA, but my s-meter did not move from s-zero.

I'm still hoping for a (another) 20m SSB QSO. I worked them on 20m SSB on November 5 at 2027z, but it never made it into Clublog.
