I assume that with the 6O callsign you will be operating from Somaliland?

Only see a very few isolated spots and even fewer reverse beacons in the last 30 minutes ...wondering if they are just testing or maybe a slim or a pirate?

Kenneth was on 18072, then 14022 (had S7 RX noise), and now on 10.113 working stations.  Mentioned S5 RX noise on 30m.
Hopefully better when they get separate RX antennas.
The 40m spot was probably a slim.

Hi Chuck:

In 1994 I worked and Irish UN aid worker in Somalia T5/EI5C or something along those lines.....no documentation and no official license for that operation so it was null and void....I believe the term you guys like to use is SLIM.....

Fast forward 20 years later, where two operation were scheduled back to back to Somalia, one by an Italian team, that was on the air, and another by the Intrepids......The Intrepids took it upon themselves to cancel thier operation because of the Italian team had already put it on the air, but I was unable to work because I could not hear them....very faint if any copy at all...no problem, I'll just work the Intrepid team....NOT!!!!!...... Tongue Cry

The only mainland Africa country I do not have.....rotten rotten rotten luck..... Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue....and ya know what...with where we are in the solar cycle and these conditions, I am not holding my breath that I will hear these guys...as i can't remember the last time I heard the African horn.....probably Eritrea when Zorro went there....
