Hi,
The BIG St Kitts, West Indies contest station V47T, up on top of the mountain had most of their antennas and towers pretty much all destroyed. However, Andy N2NT (V47NT) and friends went down to St Kitts the middle of November and installed, the previously shipped container load of new antennas, with a few additions, and towers. They were back on the air just in time for the CQWW CW Contest the end of November 2017. They all stayed at my vacation home in Calypso Bay while there, and were at least able to get a good nights sleep after many very HOT hard work days working up on the mountain.
I am just a small time contester on St Kitts, as V47JA. We were luckily there was no damage to our Calypso Bay, St. Kitts, vacation home, during hits by hurricanes IRMA and MARIA, except that all my antennas were destroyed. When I went back down last October, I replaced them all and was back on the air, and able to put V4 on for CQWW SSB Contest the end of October 2017. I then returned to Texas the first week in November.
