Elmers,

I was wondering if there was a way to search on any of the call sign servers with a wildcard to figure out which calls are still available. I know the FCC's site has '%' for a wildcard in names, but it doesn't seem to work for callsigns.

For example, is there a way to see what (if any) N6?? or A?6JR calls are still available. I have done the A?6JR on QRZ by typing in every letter of the alphabet, but there must be a better way to do this somewhere? Is there?

Thanks,
Johnathan

A great way to look up vanity calls that are available is to use N4MC's site.

http://www.vanityhq.com

You can see what is currently and soon to be available calls.

I used it and it works great.

WM3T is absolutely right, vanityhq.com can't be beat. Just be ready to wait a long time for your vanity call. I've had my application in since 11/13 and they have only processed through 10/22. In fact, they had more issues this past week where they rescinded vanity calls that had been issued for 10/23 and 10/24 applications due to some processing SNAFU.
