Has anybody had any experiance with a D-104 and a FT-1000D. Is the Yaesu FT-1000D a old enough design that it can adapt to the D-104 without any specail radio or mic mods? Any help would be great.

Is the D-104 on a T-UG8 or T-UG9 amplified stand?

You'd be adapting the mic to the rig vrs the rig to the mic.

D104s precede xsistor rigs by many decades.

You'll also want to get a ham license before using a ham rig.
