PK232PSK and MIXW

Has anyone been able to operate a PK232 using MIXW software? I can get the sound card modes to work just fine but the ARQ modes just won't work.

For PACTOR, Airmail works with the PK232 just fine but not the MIXW. I'm feeling really stupid here. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Ummm, The sound card software is not made to work through a hardware modem, but with the sound card connected to the radio through an interface.

This question has been addressed in the MixW working group.  I don't have the answer (no interest in PK232 PSK), but it is there for the searching. To visit the groups site go to, http://www.yahoogroups.com/group/mixw/

Hi Jim, MixW will work just great with only CQ-100. You won't need your PK-232 at all, but maybe you don't like this type of mode. If your at all interested I can give you more info.  Bill

When you use MixW with the PK-232 for ARQ modes you use MixW as a terminal program. The audio does NOT pass thru the sound card except to provide a display on the waterfall. What you need is a set of macros for the PK-232. I'd ask on the MixW group to see if someone can provide them to you - unless you want to get adventurous and write your own.
