Dear Fellow Ham,

Several months ago I bought a used Diamond SG7900 antenna, through one of the online ham swap sites, that was advertised to be in "excellent" condition.  Today I installed it in place of my SG7000 that was working great.

Instead of a S9 signal from the local repeater, I only get an S2 using the SG7900.  Checking the SWR, the SG7900's lowest reading is 1.7:1 at 154 MHz.

The published length of the antenna is 62 inches.  Mine measures 60 inches.  I suspect someone cut the bottom shaft.

I have not been able to locate any published dimensions other than the total length.  Can you please tell me what is the correct installed length of each of the four rods?

Thanks in advance.
