Icom Service manual

Where can I get a copy of the Icom 718 SERVICE manual? All the sites I've found only have operating manuals for down load.

If you need the whole manual, you can order one from almost any Icom dealer. AES should have them in stock, and can drop ship from any of their locations, as can HRO.

Although Operating Manuals are often available for download from the manufacturers web site, typically you will have to purchase the Service Manual from dealer or directly from the manufacturer. There is indeed an IC-718 Service Manual. The part number on mine as purchased from Icom America is:  97713343. Back in May 2003 it was selling for $44.00US.

I have an ic290h. I would call their 800 number periodicly intil one was in stock.

I have a IC-718 and want to do the 60m mod and need to remove panel etc to get to diode D-54. Is there a prefered procedure for removing panel etc to do this? I do not have service manual and I suspect it describes Icom's  suggested aproach to get to D-54 for removal etc. Any ideas would be appreciated....
