What is the voltage going to the fan on a Kenwood TS-430?

My Fan stopped working so its hard wired to the 12 vdc supply. Seems to run a little fast so

maybe 6 to 8 vdc would be better, if you can find it in the radio with enough current.

Measure it!
This is where you put that voltmeter to use.  Then you will KNOW what it is.
