Hi, everyone,

Are there any Yaesu FT100 (of FT100D) owners out there who actually have managed to get the Programmable Memory Scanning function to work? I've followed the instructions in the manual to the letter, but the rig ends up either in memory scanning mode (scanning memory channels) or VFO scanning mode (scanning from floor to ceiling, all 1300Mhz of it). No matter what I try, I can't limit the scanning range to whatever is in the two appropriate menu registers.

As part of a great deal of fooling around with menu's and playing with the buttons, I've actually gotten it to work twice, but accidentally and I could not repeat it.

If anyone is using it and it works, please enlighten me as to how you're doing it. It's driving me crazy. (I'm also trying to scan VHF frequencies in FM mode, where the main dial doesn't work.)

TNX,
