I have had a nightmare with Yaesu and the FT-100 I paid for. Bought the Whole lock stock and barrel to have it go south and it NEVER got fixed- Only a few butterheads telling me to ground the rig.

You can read about the Debacle in the rig reviews-

 Please share your Horror Stories of Crummy service, either during the sale of when Service was needed after words. this is not Brand name specific, Whatever rig/antenna/ amp- whatever! let's hear it!

If that happened to me, I'd be on their doorstep so fast I'd probably break the sound barrier getting there.  Of course, they're also quite close by and I can get there in an hour.

Hi Drew,

did you buy it new and use a credit (not debit) card ?

most cards have buyer protection policies, give your
card issuer a call and find out.

other cards like Amex double the warranty on new
purchases.
