When I was young, my father would take us kids to Colorado to visit the Deals. They lived just outside of Granite, CO, and I remember the fun we had climbing mountains, and fishing for trout. It was just a great vacation!

On the way, we always stopped in Stockton, KS, to visit my Dad's aunt and Uncle. They owned a hardware store, and a small cafe, located right next to one another. They served the best Chicken Fried steak in the state.

The one thing I remember about that cafe, were all of the signs plastered on the walls. One went something like this; Helen Waite is out credit manager. If you want credit, go to Helen Waite. Of all of those signs (there had to be 50 of them), the one that fits here, and printed just as I have it here is:
