Where can I find information on 'M' mounts? I purchased a Comet V/UHF mobile antenna and the continuity of the PL259 is backwards to what I would have expected. The pin is isolated and the threads are hot to the whip. This seems backwards to what the SO239 on the rig is doing. Help! Thanks, 73 eric

Oh boy. After careful analysis and deliberations with my Elmer, it has been brought to my attention that I was seeing the seemingly errant readings due to the matching network apparently built into the base of this antenna. Very clever of them to include this in the design. Once I saw it on paper it made perfect sense. Thank you wa7axo. Now if I can get my brain to match up as well........ 73
