Alinco DX-70TH vs DX-70TD

There are some good prices on the TD but I can't find any specs.  Does anyone know exactly what the difference is between the TD and TH models?  Alinco's WEB site doesn't even acknowledge the TD as existing.

Taking guesses here, but, H seems to be for high power on most of thier models, this one it only seems to relate to 6(10/100w).  For the D, no idea, all you can do is compare specs, if you can...

I called Alinco and asked what the differences were between the DX-70TD and either the T or TH model and was told that the TD is the same as the T model, with reduced power.  The gentleman I spoke with had no idea why the DX-70TD being offered by Radio Shack had that particular model number assigned to it.  Still sounds like a good price though.  Hope this helps.

You asked a good question, and I was glad to see the answers you got.  I'm about to buy one of these myself.  You can check the specs yourself at http://www.radioshack.com.  they will have a link right to all the info.  For the money, I don't think it can be beat.  I hope I think so after I buy one!  Best regards,

The Alinco DX-70TH is 100 watts on all bands and SSB/CW/FM modes, with 50 watts out on AM. I have owned one for several months, and I think it's great. Sure, the noise blanker sucks, but I consider that a minor issue.

By the way, I use it in the shack, not mobile. To me, it's too good to get it scratched up using it mobile.
