I have a dumb question.  On an Icom Ic-27a there are three wires to connect in the back.  The black (ground of course), the red (hot) and there is also a white wire.  What is this wire connected to?  I have not had a chance to obtain a manual yet.  Is it hot, power for an accessory or some other kind of ground?
                              Thanks, KD5RPU (JR)

I looked this up on Icom, and a couple of other nets, but couldn't find anything about the DC hookup. Maybe you should send Icom CS an e-mail and ask tham.

In my IC 27A owners manual it shows only a two wire power connector. One black and one red wire.
