I use a Yaesu VX5R as an all purpose portable HT, and in my car as a mobile connected to a Comet SB-15. This is an awesome combo, and I'm quite satisfied with it in most aspects, but I've recently experienced the "Tim Taylor" syndrome... I need more power !

Is there a TRI-band linear amp out there somewhere that I could buy? One that covers 6m, 2m and 70cm?

Like I said, the VX5R and the SB-15 are a great combo, but a bit more Oomph would be nice.

Thanks.

Mirage (a division of MFJ) makes both 6m and 2m/70cm amps for HT level drive, but I've not seem one yet that does all 3 bands.  You'd probably have to settle for a seperate 6m amp.
