I have found a feature in my SG-237 that does not appear to be documented in the manual or on the SGC web page. If the tuner is powered up or reset with the tune lock/hold condition set then it will disable the tune from memory feature. The only way to clear this condition is to cycle the power off and on with the tune lock/hold not enabled.

SGC has verified that it indeed is supposed to work this way. It gives you a means to disable the tune from memory feature without opening up the box and changing the jumper setting.

It may not be in your manual, but it is in the latest version of the manual. This "feature" first appeared on eham.net about 18 months ago in a thread about the 237.

I can't find it in the SG-237 manual that SGC has on-line, Alan.

I did find it in the on-line SG-231 manual.

Sorry, I might have pulled up the incorrect one. Nonetheless, it was covered in an earlier thread.
