I have one I got at HRO made I think by Pryme. Radio Shack WAS selling one as well. The brand is almost immaterial to the use. Both of these have (or had) BNC connectors, but a BNC to SMA adaptor will make them work with an SMA antena if that is what you have.

You will want to add an 18 inch wire counterpoise below the mount if the antenna is not ground-independent.

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it!! The CH-722SA sounds like a good one!!  The Comet SMA-24 is much to flimsy for mobile use.
