I purchased the THF6A and want to buy a magmount type of antenna.  Of course it would have to be a tri-band attenna.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a particular antenna setup?  It doesnt have to be a magmount but it is a company vehicle. I thought it would be easier.  The THF6a is a great radio but the antenna it comes with is not the greatest.  So a replacement made all the difference in the world.  I suspect that the same would be true for a vehicle antenna in a mobile setup.  Oh well, any suggestions would be appreciated

Other than Comet and Diamond, there isn't much choice. As for the mag mount, I don't like them. They scratch the surface, they'll come loose in a crash, and they don't work as well as others.

What I'd do is ask if you can mount one on the trunk lid. Worse case they say no and you use a trunk lip mount which is a little better than the mag mount.

I can tell you this. Over the years, I have worked for 4 different companies that supplied me with a car. In every case, I drilled holes for both VHF and HF antennas. I never ask as I assumed it was easier to ask forgiveness than permission. Not once was anything said. After all, I lived in that car and they knew it. For the most part, when it's ready to trade in, it'll be wholesaled anyway, so who cares?
