I am new to HAM.

Will I be happy with a Comet SBB-7 antenna on my
Ford Ranger 4door w/a dual band mobile radio?

Comet SBB-7 info:

Dual-Band 146/446MHz
Gain & Wave:
146MHz 4.5dBi 6/8 wave
Center-Load
446MHz 7.2dBi 5/8 wave x 3
VSWR: 1.5:1 or less
Max Power: 70W FM
Length: 55"
Connector:
Gold-Plated PL-259 or NMO Style
MSRP: $74.95

Comet RS-730 mount

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

I have the same antenna and mount combination on my car.  It works pretty well, SWR is pretty decent on both bands and I get a pretty decent signal out, even on low power.
