I am interested in mounting an HT in my 1994 Toyota Camry.  Here are the details:
1.  My car is a five speed.  The radio cannot be mounted too close to the gear shift.
2.  There are no visible screws in the console/dash area.  :-(
3.  The HT has a large battery, so it's kind of heavy.  I need a mount that is pretty solid.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Gamber-Johnson makes a mount which screws to the floorboard and has a clamping device to hold an HT on the other end. They're not cheap, but quality never is.
