I have a Kenwood TM-733 dual band radio and an Pioneer FM modulator XM satellite radio receiver in my truck. About 2 weeks ago noise about S9 started on the 2 meter band when the XM receiver was turned on. When I turn it off the noise goes away. I have not made any changes to my configuration, so mods are not the issue. Anyone else have a similar problem?

I have had the exact same prob (I think).  Is the interferance with one frequency on your ham rig or the whole band?  I have only had problems on one or two frequencies at a time.  Try changing the output of the RF modulator and see if that helps.  I was shocked but it can be very very annoying.

It seems to affect one repeater more than the other. I will try to change the frequency on the modulator.
