Hi!
Today I installed my ft 1802 in my truck sonoma 95.
I installed whit a cg-144 hustler and a k400 truck mount.
But my swr still constantly between 1.7/2!!!!
I tried to adjust colinear to 19" but is the same result.
I know I do something wrong but I can't find what is??
Better ground??? I need to ground radio too?? (I can't find any way to ground this radio).
Maybe antenna need other adjustment??
any idea??
Thansk you in advance!

Check your ground at the PL-259 connector. Make sure the braid has a good ground against the shell, next check that the antenna mount is solidly biting into the vehicle body. Scrape the paint away a little bit to insure good metal to metal contact. Both ends of the coax need to be solidly grounded to maintain a low vswr.
