I have a FT1802m and really enjoy it.  It scans a bunch of public service frequencies at the same time monitoring a priority memory.  But how can I get rid of that annoying tone each time it leaves a frequency and goes back to scanning?

Menu Item #6, "BEEP": Switch from "KY+SC" (default) to "KEY" or "OFF"

See also: #21, "EDG.BEP" (Band Edge Beep), default = "OFF"
