I don't agree. There's a very good reason the Model T isn't made anymore, and it has nothing to do with cheap.

If anyone has a good working Model T or a Icom 706MKIIG they don't want anymore I would be glad to have it! Grin

I agree.  I own an FT-8900 and a D-700, and find the latter much easier to use.  The Yaesu has over 40 menu items to select from, and I find that the manual is always required to set things that are not done every day.
