I have an IC706 and although it puts out 100watts at full power the internal power meter only says 40 watts max.I think that the meter may have been turned down by mistake.
Anyone know where or what the pot number is to recal the meter?
Thanks James

I am on my second 706. They are really neat. Are you sure that the output is set High? Push and hold the "display" button until you get the Q screen. Go to Q1 and turn the dial until the power reads "H". Then check the readout again. I don't believe there is a way to reset the readout scale. Good luck.
