Hello all,

I like to participate in on air nets, and if I can't, I still like to listen to them.  I know that the Houston AMSAT group serves up it's net audio not only on a satellite feed, but their audio may also be heard on the web via Real Audio.  I was wondering if any other clubs or nets are doing this as well?  I work weird schedules and sometimes SWLing thru the Web is my only connection to the outside world.  I'd like to know if any clubs have their on air nets via the Web, that way I can still participate in my favorite hobby, ham radio.  Please let me and other hams know of any other nets that may be listened to on the Web....  This sometimes may be the only way to participate in great hobby while at work or for those who may be radio-less.

Here's a live Realaudio feed of the Cal-Net repeater system in California.

pnm://24.130.53.163/encoder/calnet.rm

You may have to start RealPlayer first and then plug that URL into it to get it going.

Heavy morning and evening use daily, nets are Wednesday night at 8:00pm Pacific (0400 UTC). Other times, it may be quiet for quite a while.

Their website is http://www.cal-net.org, and their repeaters cover most of California so you're going to hear people spread out over a wide area.
