Hello,

I just purchased an ICOM 208H 2m/440 radio.  I love the radio, but hate the microphone.  The mic sounds very tinny with low audio.  The mic is the Icom HM-133 (stock mic).  Is there an element you would recommend I could use to replace the stock element?  I must keep the actual microphone shell because it has all of the buttons to control the radio.  Replacing the entire mic would lose all of my functionality, so that is not an option.
I am a HUGE fan of Heil mics, however I would be open to using anthing which will give me rich, full-sounding audio on my 208H.  Can you help me?

Cost is NOT my main concern.  I will pay for quality.

Thanks,

Randy Malick
