Author Topic: Posting DX Packet Spots  (Read 1785 times)

Since our local Packet Cluster went QRT, I frequently check eHAM for DX Packet Spots.  I've noticed that when I try to post a spot, the system sometimes refuses my entry saying the frequency is "not a valid amateur frequency".

Assuming that frequencies are to be entered in kHz, how would someone enter a spot for say 7263.5 kHz?  I tried every incarnation for a 40M spot recently, only to be bounced every time.

Am I missing something?

Bob, you are not imagining things.  I've noticed this, too, and have informed the programmers.

Good news. This was fixed, and will be propagated to the live site from our test site soon.

Tnx

I noticed the same thing many months ago.
I discovered "http://www.cestro.com/pcluster/telnet.html", a listing of internet clusters, and now monitor and post spots to K1TTT, within my Logging program, DXBase2001.
Have FUN
