I say kudo's to the E-Ham Team; they are doing a great job with their new policy regarding apparent flames, personal attacks, etc.

One thing I would suggest, however:  If a post is deleted, leave some kind of message , such as "message deletedf by webmaster" or somehow indicate that there was an inappropriate post that has disappeared.  Otherwise, viewers can be COMPLETELY clueless!
OK, as an example, on the Elmer's forum, there was a question about "Rotor Cable."  OK, I explained, but before I could finish, someone else had made a derogatory comment about the original question.  I later included some additional info, and made reference to the rude post, stating that not ALL of the E-Ham community was rude, etc.  The post has disappeared, and I suspect that the E-Ham Team deleted it as it was a derogatory, personal attack.  But without an indication that it had been deleted, most people will say "HUH?  WHAT derogatory remark?"  Or what post?  At least if there's an indication that a post was deleted, it could make the site a bit more "sensible?"
Other than that, the E-Ham Team is doing a great job!

Good idea and I have thought about it.  The one problem is that I cannot edit posts...only delete them so any explanation would have to appear as a new post and therfore completely out of order and would be virtually worthless.

Now, if I could edit the posts...
