Folks - it's been a looooong time since I've went out and purchased actual components like coils, etc. I need to purchase a tuning capacitor - with a range of say .01pf  to at least 78pf. It will be used in a transmit tuning arranagement - so a I need one with a respectable voltage rating....

This might be better posted in the classifieds - but I would like to get an idea sources for parts these days. And of course if any of younz have a tuning cap that will cover at least this range - please let me know.

thanks in advance,

Ken

Try Surplus Sales of Nebraska, check out their website.  I purchased a few doorknob fixed caps from them, and I believe thay also have variable caps.  By the way, your specification of 0.01pF is too small to be practical.  Whatever wires you used to connect to the variable cap. would introduce far more capacitance than that.

73 & good luck,
