TS-2000 vs IC-746pro

I am wanting a new rig and I am considering the Kenwood TS-2000 and the Icom IC-746pro.  I suspect that the receiver might be better in the Icom, but I kind of like some of the satellite, packet DX spotting, etc. on the Kenwood.  Does anyone have experience with both radios who would be willing to share some wisdom with me?  I mainly started this quest of mine by wanting a good HF rig.  My Kachina 505DSP is somewhat 'on the ropes' I am afraid.

Go with the TS-2000. I have compared it to the 756PRO and FT-990 that I currently have in the shack and for casual HF DX'ing and a little ragchewing, I end up using the TS-2000. The audio from the TS-2000 is a pleasure to listen to and transmit always receives unsolicited great audio reports when used with a Heil Pro mic. Band coverage makes it a complete shack in one box from 160 up to 440. The menu system on the TS-2000 is much more intuitive than the IC-746PRO. I must admit that that I did not like the small buttons at first, but not I guess I'm use to them. A lot of good things have been said about this rig on eham--read the reviews.
