Can this mic be wired for the heathkit hw-101 radio? If not what mic would work, i like the style of this one.

    Yep.  You just have to match the wiring to the rig schematic.

I picked one up at a garage sale - mint $20. Buddy thought he got the better part of the deal....hihi

One pair of wires keys the transmit relay, another pair goes to the mic element.

I worked it out for a Kenwood rig no sweat. There may be schematics online for wire pair color coding....73

   The D-104 was "THE" mike to have for hams from the '30s to the '80s!  Many are still in use today on all kinds or rigs.
