I thought aboit buying a Rig from them about two Years ago but after reading all the bad stuff that comes up in Google I decided not to.

Interesting thing is that I have followed a few items on RadioMart Auctions and I have also noticed that he Never Ever gets low balled Roll Eyes  Somehow at the very last minute someone jumps in and starts bidding up the item!   I feel so very sorry for the poor guy who see's a $300 rig going for $150 and puts in the first bid, fends off 5 other people with the hope of getting it for $250 and then ends up in the Last 30 seconds bidding against a R*******t  employee and in his desperation ends up bidding $320 on the Radio.  I see this happen all the time on ebay and I always wonder if the poor sucker really pays for the item or does he take the Negative on his rating.

Since my repeated complaints over the last few months to ebay it looks as if "ts944" is on vacation from bidding! ( too bad we can't see who is bidding on radio-marts "private" auctions)....

Now radio-mart is using his old gottahaveit1995 account ( name changed to 1love2cell ) to sell his chop shop parts.....Same radio-mart, same tactics it seems.

He got me today, did a snip on a radio I was selling and then refused to pay the shipping even though I listed it as fix shipping to cover all 48 states. Tried to force me to re-invoice him or he would leave negitive feedback. I told him to shove it. Well he left the feedback but made the mistake of saying if I did not reduce the shipping to what he wanted to pay the deal was void. ButtHead...Ebay is removing the comments. This is the last time I'll sell or buy anything on Ebay.

Same old grainy low res photos of his

MINT Kenwood TS-570 radios that he took in 'trade'
for Collins gear.

He must have a garage filled up with Collins gear.

Well Ebay pulled the false negitive feedback from my account that Martyn left and supposedly notified him he was in violation of their extortion clause. A slap on the wrist which means nothing to him. They should have bared him for 30 days.

LOL you forget that Ebay is way more interested in the fee's they collect from him than what he may have done to a single customer.  Thats why Ebay is fading a little bit each and every year. Ebay just can't get it that the customer is more important than the seller, they keep trying to find a balance.

Although I've made some decent purchases on Ebay, it only took getting burned once to teach me a lesson.

When I first noticed "ts944" bidding on just about everything radio-mart had for auction I alerted ebay...Thinking they would investigate and see what I was seeing.....They did NOTHING. I started reporting every auction I saw "ts944" bidding on and still NOTHING from ebay. I had to call customer service and had a long talk with a rep ( who assured me something would be done) ...Still NOTHING! Week after week it was radio0-mart / ts944 doing the same old thing! A few more phone calls to "higher ups" and suddenly ts944 stopped bidding on radio-marts auctions and radio-mart went "private" on most of his expensive items. ebay claims to care so much but it seems the reality is they do not. Make no mistake, radio-mart is in business to make money. He needs to sell things for more than he paid for them. He saves money by not putting a "reserve" on his auctions but WILL NOT lose money on something. Now that "ts944" has been "outed" for all to see radio-mart is hurting......GOOD!

I have made many great deals through ebay and met many wonderful people from all over the world....It is sad to see radio-mart scam so many people and just get away with it. Interesting, this thread has had over 12,000 "hits", More than 5 times as many as any other thread on Eham it seems.

Martyn, we are all still waiting for an answer!

Thats wonderful work, I hope you stay on the case and I hope some other Hams start to get involved.  I think it's all Ham operators duty to expose other crooked Hams, if we do this and keep the Hobby clean it will benefit us all later on.

Shill bidding,, Yawnnnn,, I am sorry,, Just because I am very successful and getting a higher price for a product does not mean I am shill bidding, fist off that is illegal, second, immoral, I have a business to run and it is certainly not in my best interest to participate in such practice and I offer the bidding history to any winning bidder who just asks for it, simple as that.

Martyn, we are all asking for it!
