Hi,

I made the converter to connect PC and TS850 from IK2BCP's diragram http://www.hamlan.org/tech/kenwood232/knw232.htm  and it works if I disconnect the DSP100.  Now I would like to use both PC and DSP100 at the same time.  Both of them use ACC1 port of TS850.  Any suggestion?

Yes, It's possible. But you must use also RTS, CTS lines and not only RXD and TXD from PC to DSP100. From DSP100 to TS850S use stadard straight DIN6/DIN6 cable. You can find this application at http://www.microham.com/appnotes.html

Yes.  But it looks like I will only work with special design hardware decoder.  Not just the cable, is it?

No, just the cable and FIF232 convertor or similar RS232 to inverted TTL level convertor.
