10.2 MHz means it is designed for 30m operation (the VXO lowers
the crystal frequency.)  The receiver IF probably uses colorburst
crystals at 3579.545 kHz if the receive crystal is 13.7 MHz.

Should be a fun little rig.

Yep, Dougs QRP book is a big help on this. Thanks to all who responded, you have been great. Nice to see all the interest. Wish I could get my kids to be interested, oh well. Happy New Year.
