One night I was scanning the 20m band and I worked a fellow out of Washington State, but he was in Washington DC working thru his laptop to his desktop PC to the TS-2000 back in the Washington state qth.  Other than a slight delay he sounded great.  That qso convinced me to pick up a TS-2000 for my SAT work and the possibility of being the remote operated portion of my shack.  My question how exactly is this accomplished? I have the rig, the control program, the laptop and the desktop.  Any help will be appreciated.

Not sure about ARCP but remote contol is being done with TRX-Manager and Net Meeting from Microsoft. There is a Yahoo egroup for TRX-Manager, might search that site for "remote control": http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TRX-Manager/
