I just bought one of these rigs used from Ten Tec  and have no idea what kind of computer control cable set up I will need to work with my logging program (ACLog). I'm selling an icom 718 and have the blackcat systems CI-V control cable. Do you know if that would work?

No..that will not work! Didn't you get a owners manual with that radio? Computer control is explained in the rear sections of the manual.
But really all you need is a straight through serial cable connected to a Com port on your PC. Ten Tec equipment will not talk to Icom interfaces.
