recently bought this new Dell and every time I use my HF radio while online, it knocks it off line.  Never happened with the old computer but happens all the time with this new one. Any ideas or tips to solve this.  Torroids on the phone line???

Toroids on the phone line is a start. But the RF could be getting into the computer via the power cable as well. Older desktop computers had power supplies with adequate filtering to keep the internally generated crud from getting out onto the AC. That same filtering kept crud on the AC line from getting into the computer. As manufacturers try to drive computer prices ever lower, those extra components get eliminated.

we've just started experiencing a similar problem here.
Our network at home is part wired and part wireless. Multiplatform.
We the amp on full whack (is there any other position?) the laptops which are on the wireless network drop out - but only from mIRC, nothing else.
