Slashed Zero Font

I currently like VAG Round and needed to grab a copy of the font for my home computer, forgetting where I found it the first time.  I tried the Fonts101 site listed above but, geez, what a huge load of spamware.  I am sure glad I had Acronis Try and Decide to back out of that!  I found a straightforward download at http://www.ufonts.com/download/vag-round/35248.html that includes the slash-zero. (I found a few knock-offs with regular zero along the way, so be sure to preview to make sure it is what you want.)

As the originator of this thread a LONG time ago, I have been remiss in identifying my solution: Monaco font. It's monospaced (all characters are the same width) and the difference between the (slashed) zero and a capital "O" is very obvious. I use it with N1MM Logger. Here's a site you can download it from.

Once it's downloaded you have to install it in order for Windows to use it. In Win XP you do this via Control Panel/Fonts. From the screen that shows all your fonts, select File/Install New Font and then point to the folder that contains the downloaded file. Once that's done, test it by opening Microsoft Word and verify that you can select Monaco from the list of available fonts.

Not a problem with a Mac; Monaco is already a standard available font

For a slashed Zero on Linux, I have used Inconsolata.  Other fonts include Droid Mono, Dejavu Mono, and Ubunutu Mono which put a dot in the center of the Zero glyph.  Not a slashed Zero but these fonts may look better with anti-aliasing enabled.
