A friend has asked me if there is a way to measure the field strength of a Cisco wireless bridge. He wants to know if there is a field strength meter made to measure signal out of a Cisco aironet 1400 802.11 2.4 ghz bridge to determine hot and cold spots (I suspect it is somewhat similiar to a router).
Thanks in advance.

http://www.bvsystems.com/Products/WLAN/Yellowjacket/yellowjacket.htm

Some of the laptop wireless software also provides relative signal strength which can be used to find dead spots, etc.
