Hi guys,

I have had several reqeusts for an easier to use Ham Logging Program.
I call this newest one  EZ HamLogBook.

You can get it for free from my website.
It is very small, less than 1mb in size.
In fact it is about 160kb in size.
It is written in Visual Basic 6 and uses what is called a flat file, or text file to store its information in.

you can read a little about it and download it for free at:

I have now made version 2 of this program.
instead of a flat file/text file to store the data in, I have used an MS Access Database to store it in.
It still has a Visual Basic Front End.

you can see it at:

Kevin, I am having problems with the stand-alone version on Win XP Home edition.  It asks for a DLL that I don't have as I have no MS Office software installed at all except the Word and PowerPoint viewers.

I don't have an installation problem but rather an execution problem.

When I click on the "Set Time Zone" button, I get the following error message:

Class not registered
You need the following file to be installed on your machine. MSSTDFMT.DLL

All is well.  Manually installing the DLL into the registry worked and the software is up and running.
