Anyone have any ideas on APRS software for Mac OSX?  Everywhere I look the webpages are just dead ends and the pages cannot be found.  If anyone knows of functioning software for Mac the info would be greatly appreciated

Try the latest version of Xastir:  1.9.9.  The link to download is here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/xastir/files/xastir-development/xastir-1.9.9/xastir199-2010-Aug-16.tgz/download

As far as I know, there is no .dmg file for it yet, so you'll have to build it from source.  Here's a pretty straight-forward how-to:

http://www.xastir.org/wiki/HowTo:Mac_OSX

... and another one:
http://www.kevinblanchard.com/projects/installing-xastir-on-mac-os-x/

I have it running on my Mac, and it does work.  It's been so long that I don't remember how I did it.  I don't use the program that often, either, but I hope to change that this winter.  All I remember is that it wasn't nearly as much of a nightmare as the instructions made it look like!

Most of all, just have fun with it!

I guess there is a .dmg for Xastir and Mac OS X.  I found it on my system this evening as I was cleaning it up.  Don't ask me where I downloaded it from, because I don't remember.  Honestly, I don't.

But here it is.  I uploaded it to my DropBox account.

It's not the latest version, but it is a recent version:  1.9.7.  Note that this .dmg will ONLY work on Intel Macs.  It doesn't work on PPC machines.  (I tried).  That's kind of a problem for me since the Mac in my shack is a PPC.  My main production machine is Intel-based.  Oh, well!  I have an old Toshiba laptop that I installed Ubuntu on.  I can put Xastir on that.

Have fun!

Here's the actual page where I downloaded the Xastir .dmg.  I'm not sure if you can still download from the page or not (I didn't try).  If not, the link in my last post should work.

I would also go with Xastir. I just got it to work on my Mac last weekend and I am really enjoying it so far. THe setup is also pretty easy, and the Yahoo group is very responsive to questions. If you need some help with the setup, go with Yahoo group and Google, but I still remember how I have mine setup, so you can also contact me if you have any questions about it (although my knowledge is limited).
